Love Diary

Challenge

Create a private, expressive mobile space where couples can record relationship milestones and daily memories, personalize their experience, communicate with a partner, and optionally participate in a wider community — all while keeping substantial personal functionality available without mandatory cloud sign-in.

Role & Collaboration

Love Diary is my own personal project, published under the Gorgeous Cyber developer identity — my public identity for independent releases, not a wider agency I own or operate. I built and continue to actively maintain the application end to end.

Solution

I designed a local-first Flutter application that combines relationship tracking, personal journals and photos, anniversaries, partner linking and private chat, public community content, notifications, premium subscriptions, and an AI-assisted conversation experience. Users can access major private features locally, while signing in enables cloud-backed and shared experiences.

Technical Contribution

I integrated SQLite and shared preferences for device-local behavior with Firebase authentication, cloud documents, realtime data, storage, remote configuration, analytics, and serverless functions. I also implemented image-processing workflows, notifications, Google sign-in, RevenueCat subscriptions, advertising and rewarded access, premium entitlements, configurable themes, and application locking.

Outcome

Love Diary is publicly distributed on Google Play and continues to receive updates, with more than 10,000 installs and a 4.7-star rating from around 140 reviews as of its most recent public snapshot.
